Thorn paced back and forth in the Detention Center visitors room, waiting for Victorique to visit him. He had been sent information on the case from his brother's office. They said that the girl was actually still alive, and that the parents were just trying to scam him. He still needed a defense attorney though, and Victorique should just be getting out of the meeting that decided what would happen to him and to the little girl's parents.

Victorique pulled up to the detention center and parked her little silver car in the parking lot. She got out of it and walked up to the detention center and REQUESTED TO SPEAK TO THORN PONTMERCY?

Thorn flipped through the files one more time before Victorique got there. It was great that he had never actually hit the girl. Apparently the family knew someone that worked for the hospital, so she had made up some files that claimed the girl had been there because he hit her. Then they claimed she died, so that they could sue Thorn for all he was worth. It was almost like the Jared case all over again!
Now he was just waiting to find out what would happen to him. He hoped he would get out of jail, but the judge might end up throwing some community service hours on him because he had almost injured that girl, and he was always causing problems.

Finally, Victorique was escorted to Thorn. Willow was HOPING that Crystal would make Thorn pop up because she had had NO IDEA what the hell she was doing! So let's just say they were face to glass now. "Hello, Thorn. Told you I'd visit." she said.

"Yay!" Thorn exploded, "I knew you'd come, babe." he had actually doubted her a little, but hey, she didn't need to know that.
"So, how did the meeting go?" he asked, "How much trouble am I in?"

Victorique was glad to deliver some fairly good news. "Not much, thankfully." she said with a smile. "Rather than a lifetime in prison, you have to do a couple months worth of community service." she shared. She had a feeling that he would complain if she had just said a few months of community service, so she added the prison part. The fact that he didn't have to go to prison should've made him grateful for the many hours of community service he'd be doing.

Thorn smiled widely at Victorique. "Thanks Vic!" he exclaimed, "You're the best! The way you figured out that the little girl was still alive, and how you threw everything back in their faces in court! I wish I was like you."

Victorique smiled widely at the boy. "Nah. I'm still a beginner." she pointed out, "They were just messy and I just got lucky, I guess." she said. She was proud that she had solved the case and saved Thorn from going to jail, but she wasn't going to make him think that she was an all-that self righteous bitch. Besides, chances were, she did just get lucky.

"Yeah, but you're a natural. I bet my brother will hire you full time once you finish your internship!" Thorn responded. Then something else hit him smack across the face.
"Uh, hey, will you go tell the jailers to let me out of here? I'll meet you at your car!" Thorn said. Then he disappeared through a door in the other side of the room.

Victorique did what she was told and then went back to her car in the parking lot. She waited for a while for the boy, resting her head back on her seat and closing her eyes. She loved her job. Especially when the client looked so happy to be free and out of jail after being placed there unfairly. It made her HEART HAPPY.

When Thorn was finally free from jail, he found Victorique's car right away and hopped into the passenger side.
"Hey, want to go catch a movie or something? I can pay. My brother pays me for leaving him alone while hes working." Thorn said.

Victorique shrugged. "Sure, I guess." she said and let out a small laugh at his comment about his brother paying him for leaving him alone. It was probably true, wasn't it? That was the sad thing. She started up her car and was making her way to the uhhhhhh movie theater.

"What movie do you wanna catch?" Thorn asked as they drove along, "What types of movies do you even like, anyway?"
He personally wanted to either catch an action film or a scary movie. It was just the natural thing, to bring a hot chick to a scary movie. But he loved action films.

"I'll see anything, I guess." Victorique said. "I don't normally watch movies." Victorique was going to counter Thorn's movie rant with her own. None of Willow's characters liked action movies because Willow hates action movies.

"Well, maybe a cool scary movie is playing. Are you down with that?" Thorn asked, glancing sideways at her. He wanted to judge her reaction to that, being that she had lawyer deductive skills and might get what he was hinting at. As in the normal guy takes girl to scary movie, girl gets scared and cuddles with him sort of deal.
