Victorique tried to think of a time when she had seen a court proceeding whateeever the hell that was. She stared off into the distance trying to think then slowly nodded her head yes, recalling one time. "Once, I believe." she said, turning back to look at Jagger. She felt so dumb, being so inexperienced and confused in this world of lawyers.

Before Jagger could say anything, his phone started to ring. He reached over and picked it up, then put it back down soon afterward. He sighed, and then looked back up at his intern. "So," he said, "You have a choice. Either I can take this case and you can watch, or you can take this case and I can help you along. If you chose the first option, I'll talk to our client and you can go bail my brother out of jail. If you take the second option, it will be the other way around."

Victorique nearly jumped at this option to take a case. "I'll take it!" she said excitedly, nearly attacking the lawyer, then cleared her throat and tried to act like she wasn't five years old and asked, "Bail your brother out of jail? Does this happen often?" she asked, since Jagger had seemed so calm but slightly annoyed at the situation.

Jagger nodded his head, "Unfortunately, yes it does. My brother is a little...different, and he relies on me constantly. He's just lucky I'm nice enough to bail him out." He sighed and ran his fingers through his hair. His brother pissed him off like you wouldn't believe. "Anyway," he added, "Let's get going. Here, take a look at the case file. It's actually a pretty easy case, if you go about it carefully. Some kid got himself locked in someones car." He threw the case file to her, then grabbed his keys and wallet and headed out the door.
