Gathering TWO

Cinderstar proudly bounded onto the highest branch of the giant tree thing. There were plenty of announcements to be made, and she had been thinking about them when she let Stormshadow chose who was going to the gathering. That was probably why Mothspots was at the gathering.

WindClan had left early so they would make it there in plenty of time. Their rankings were small because they were just recovering from the sickness outbreak, but Wishingstar had chosen their strongest warriors to go. They arrived at about the same time ShadowClan did, thanks to Wishingstar's slow pace. Oceanmask helped the old, white tom onto the lowest branch of the tree. His fur was unkempt, obvious that he wasn't feeling well.

Cinderstar only nodded her head at the WindClan leader.

Foxstar lead her Clan into the clearing. There wasn't too much news to be shared, besides how the apprentices were doing so great and that ThunderClan was as strong and lively as ever, with plenty of kits, both on the way and growing up healthy and happy and almost ready to be apprentices. She jumped up into the tree onto the branch closest to Wishingstar, and Echosong seated herself below the tree as Foxstar nodded her greetings to the other leaders. Her belly was very plump.

Larkstar entered the clearing with her warriors. Most of them were warriors who had fought in the battle a few days before. But Larkstar had made it a point to bring all of the apprentices to this gathering to show RiverClan's growing numbers. She hopped up into the tree, making sure to give Cinderstar a nasty look on her way up. She nodded to the other two leaders respectfully and almost thought about spitting in the direction of Cinderstar. But the she-cat thought better of it.
Because willow just realized this isn't froststar.

Oceanmask smiled over at Echosong and Stormshadow. "Where is Ivystalker?" she asked. She had never liked the toms personality, but he was good when he needed to be. He had saved some of their kits once, and she wouldn't forget that.

"He is gone." came a deep voice, and Ripplestream stepped up and sat down near the other deputies. He held no grudge against Stormshadow, but he did nothing more put slightly incline his head at the tom. The two shecats got a warmer welcome.

"ShadowClan will start!" Cinderstar announced loudly, "We are doing very well. We have gained more territory toward RiverClan's side of the border. We are afraid that it is still not enough to feed our growing population. Also, we have four new kits! Snowkit, Smokeykit, Venomkit, and my own kit, Underkit. We have new Warriors as well: Sparrowflight, Foxtail, Dogtooth, Mudflower, Badgerstripe, and Mothspots."

Larkstar wasn't sure if Cinderstar was finished or not, but she didn't care. At this point, she spoke up. "Yes, ShadowClan stole a piece of territory from us, killing my deputy in the process." she said, bluntly. "The bloodthirsty and power hungry leader has broken the warrior code, but she thinks that it'll be okay because she's so mighty and whatnot. However, what she doesn't quite get is that RiverClan will be taking back the territory, and very soon. I promise."

Cinderstar's pelt bristled as she hissed, "Your deputy wouldn't have died if he had stopped fighting and fled when he saw he was overpowered. The warrior code backs up the kill we had to make. And for your information, you won't be taking that territory back any time soon. Now do you have anything to say, Kitty, or are we going to sit around until the truce breaks?"

[J I N G O]

"Your warriors killed him for no reason. We were defending our territory, and you killed him. Last time I checked, that's against the code. But once again! You're so mighty. You could change even he will of StarClan, am I right?" Larkstar hissed. "You've broken the code and will pay. RiverClan will win this war." she growled at the ShadowClan leader. "Ripplestream is the new deputy of RiverClan, since the life of Ivystalker was taken much too quickly away from him." she meowed, whipping her head around to address the rest of the Clans. She heard approving yowls from her own Clan and saw nods of acknowledgement from some of the more stunned cats who were shocked by Larkstar's angry and TOOD-FUL words to the ShadowClan leader.

ShadowClan cats hissed from the crowd, as well as a few from other Clans. Larkstar was being too aggressive for a Gathering, and Cinderstar was now lashing her tail back and forth, looking as if she was about to leap on the RiverClan cat.

"Now, now." Wishingstar sighed, his voice cracking with age, "You two must stop. Do not bring such trials to the Gathering, WindClan doesn't wish to hear it."
He saw Oceanmask nod firmly, so he continued, "WindClan has four new apprentices and six new warriors, three of which are my own kits. I am saddened to announce the death of my mate, Morningcloud, and she will be forever honored in StarClan. But on good news, we have two new, healthy kits! Oceanmask and Grasswhistle have had Foxkit and Wildkit, and Sweetkit is now in the paws of StarClan."

Foxstar nodded her head, glad to hear Wishingstar break up the fighting between the quarreling she-cats. "I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I wish StarClan to light the paths of the remaining kits, as well as the rest of WindClan." she mewed before turning back to face the crowd of cats. "ThunderClan is as lively as ever, nearly every warrior having an apprentice on their paws. There are new warriors being made and kits readying themselves for apprenticeship. I, myself, am also pregnant with a litter of kits. All in all, ThunderClan is doing very well."

Wishingstar nodded his head. He hopped down from the tree, falling onto his side as he fell. Oceanmask was quickly by his side. Slowly the old tom got up and shook his knotted fur.

As the Clans started to break up, rogue cats suddenly shot through the bushes. They had invaded while the RiverClan and ShadowClan leaders had been arguing. The group was led by Xemnas, the leader of the original rogue group. Each member of the group had a large group of other cats they had collected to bring with them, and they attacked the Clan cats.

Oceanmask hissed at batted the cats away from her leader.

"Attack?" Foxstar muttered under her breath, as she hopped down from the tree. "Attack!" Foxstar shouted, as if the cats couldn't already tell that they were being attacked. Silly Foxstar, acting like a clown. Foxstar, being pregnant with kits, was not sure what to do. Echosong was at her best friend's side in an instant, determined to protect her and her kits from the rogue cats.

Larkstar leaped down from her place on the tree right on top of one of the rogue cats, quite relieved to be getting out some of her anger and frustration. THAT WHICH DON'T KILL YOU -HEAD BOB HEAD BOB- JUST MAKES ME STRONGA -HEAD BOB-

Cinderstar faught next to Larkstar, determined to show her that she was superior and could destroy more cats than she could. Yes.

Wishingstar reached out and slashed at one of the rogues, but the rogue was faster than he was. It came back and slashed him across the face before he could dodge it, but Oceanmask was faster. She attacked the rogue and chased after him, leaving Wishingstar behind.

"Wishingstar!"

The white tom heard his name, and he could have sworn he saw a glimpse of tortoise shell fur when he turned his head. But the next thing he noticed was the silver rogue, the leader of all the others, disappearing over the tree bridge. With all the speed of a WindClan cat, he chased after the silver cat.

Larkstar wanted to badly to reach over and start clawing the ShadowClan leader, but held back. She moved onto another rogue far away from the UGLY MEAN SHADOWCLAN LEADER (i get into character. and it makes me angry with cinderstar. insulting her makes me feel better.). She scratched and clawed, biting and tearing fur out of the enemies pelt.

Cinderstar NOTICED Larkstar being an UTTER BITCH so she followed after the damned shecat. Fighting a rogue out of her way, she leaped onto Larkstar and bit into her throat. She scratched her underbelly with her back claws as she did so.

Wishingstar managed to catch up with Xemnas, but the smaller cat turned and scratched at his face. Wishingstar bit his ear, causing the rogue to yowl.

Minnowcloud had just sent a rogue back into the writhe of warriors and rogues before turning and seeing her leader being attacked by Cinderstar. "Treacherous, foxhearted cat!" she yowled before bowling herself into the ShadowClan leader and knocking her off Larkstar.

Foxstar was looking around at the mess of cats, when she saw Cinderstar attacking Larkstar. She hissed and almost jumped in to break them up, but Minnowcloud beat her to it. Foxstar leaped over to Larkstar's side, Echosong following close behind. "Leave your trivial fights for another time. Protect the Clans as a whole right now!" the important leader yowled.

Cinderstar knocked Minnowcloud off of her and spat at Larkstar before walking away.

Oceanmask ran up to Foxstar and Larkstar, mewing, "Dear StarClan, have either of you seen Wishingstar? He's just disappeared!"

Meanwhile, Wishingstar was pinning down Xemnas just off of the tree bridge in WindClan territory. He was biting at the tom while the other scratched at him, occasionally the balance of [power shifting.
