Foxstar was laying with her kits in her den, waiting to build up the energy to do the massive naming ceremony that was going to be happening today. She had several warriors to make and some kits to get apprenticed. However much work it was, she couldn't help but feel proud about how big and strong ThunderClan was getting. She looked down at her own kits, yet another contribution to the Clan, giving them strength for many more moons to come. Content and ready to do her job, she emerged out of her den and stood on the highledge, not waddling to get out like she had almost gotten used to. She sat herself down on the very edge and called out, "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the highledge for a Clan meeting."

Axel had been sitting in the middle of the clearing, sunbathing, instead of sitting with his mate and kits. What a bastard. He got up and moved to sit next to Thistlefall and Gingerclaw, two cats he had become friends with during his time here.
Brokensoul sat proudly underneath the Highledge, staring down at his half-clan kits. They would be full ThunderClan apprentices today, and would be accepted into ThunderClan as equals even though their father was ShadowClan. He was so proud, but he had never pictured this day to happen in ThunderClan, or his kits to be part ThunderClan. He missed ShadowClan, but there was nothing he could do about that now.
Grasspaw and Bramblepaw went running up to the highledge, batting at each other as they did so. Starlingpaw followed closely after them, trying to catch up. Rootpaw growled at his siblings as they ran past him, and all of them were scolded by Smokesong and Lightbreeze. Sproutpaw and Thicketpaw followed after their parents at a calm pace.
Shadowkit and Yellowkit sat close to their father, every once in a while reaching over to smack at the other or to hiss cruel words. You'd think they hated each other, but thats just how they acted. It was their shadowclan blood.

"We have tons of ceremonies to preform today, so just bear with me. This is a sign of ThunderClan's strength, anyways. So don't let your excitement and enthusiasm ebb away as the ceremonies go on." Foxstar started out, reminding her Clanmates that this many ceremonies was a blessing not a chore. "First I will apprentice the kits. Bluekit, you have reached your sixth moon and are ready to train as an apprentice. From this day onward until you are ready to become a warrior, you will be known as Bluepaw." she called out, "Swiftflight, you are ready to take on your first apprentice. You are patient and clever, and I hope that you can pass all that you know down to this young cat."
Swiftflight turned to his siblings, excited the have his own apprentice. Applefrost had already had her own apprentice, but Blazestep and himself had not. He turned away from his siblings, bowed his head in the direction of Foxstar and made his way over to the front of the group to touch noses with his new apprentice.
Bluepaw carefully touched noses with Swiftflight, making sure not to bump it too hard or something. She was being extra cautious about this, not wanting to mess anything up! Especially since she was the first of her siblings to be called.
"Firekit. You've reached your sixth moon and are ready to train as an apprentice of ThunderClan." Foxstar said, fixing her gaze on the unusually red colored she-kitcat in the clearing, "So from this day onward, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Firepaw. Blazestep, you will be her mentor. You are strong and brave and I hope that you can pass down these qualities to your young apprentice."
Blazestep had been momentarily jealous of Swiftflight for getting an apprentice, hoping that he would get his own. He didn't want to be the only one out of his siblings to not have an apprentice! Did Foxstar not like him or something? But his thoughts quickly dispersed when he heard his name being called to mentor one of the four apprentices-- Firepaw! She was quiet but clever and seemed to be friendly. He trotted over to the bright red she-kitcat and touched noses with her, hoping that he could do as good a job at mentoring as Applefrost had with Petalpaw.
"Next up is Shadowkit. You are now six moons old, as well, and are ready to become an apprentice. From this day onward, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Shadowpaw. Ivorylight, you will mentor this young tom. You are loyal and just, and I hope you will pass down all you know to this apprentice."
Ivorylight got up from her place beside her sister to go and touch noses with her new apprentice. She had been watching Yellowkit and Shadowpaw from a short distance away and was momentarily worried about mentoring the tom. She pushed the doubt out of her thoughts, and tried to go into this with an open mind.

Shadowpaw buzzed forward and touched noses with his mentor. The black and white tom wasn't too happy about having such a young warrior training him, but at least she had had an apprentice before. Yes, he was up with all of the current news in ThunderClan. He was planning on being leader one day, so he had to be!
Yellowkit narrowed her eyes at her brother and sisters, not happy about being last. She flickered her tail impatiently, trying to show her important leader that she was waiting.
Brokensoul put his paw on his daughters tail and whispered, "Be patient!" He had seen the look in Ivorylight's eyes, and new she wasn't happy about mentoring his son. Sure, like him, his son had a brash streak, but he hoped that was the only reason she seemed unwilling.

Ivorylight touched her nose to the tom, and then sat down. She filled her mind with ways that she could train this apprentice, just like she had trained one before. She suddenly started to cheer up, thinking about helping her Clan by molding this cat into an amazing warrior.
"And last, but certainly not least, Yellowkit. You, like your siblings, have reached your sixth moon and are ready to be apprenticed. From this day onward until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Yellowpaw. Flameshadow, you are ready to take on another apprentice. You are calm and levelheaded in the most chaotic of times, and I hope that you can pass on your skills to this apprentice."
Flameshadow got up, after stretching his big and broad shoulders which he hadn't gotten a chance to shrug today. He made his way all across the clearing to stand face to face with Yellowpaw and touch noses with her.
Foxstar nodded. One job done, now she had the really long and almost tedious task ahead of her. The warrior ceremonies. Every single apprentice besides the four newly made ones needed ceremonies. "Echosong, are you satisfied with your apprentices skills, and do you believe him ready to be a warrior?"
Echosong nodded her head at her leader and friend. "He is ready."
"Then I, Foxstar, leader of ThunderClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look upon this apprentice. He has trained hard to learn the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn." Foxstar said, looking at the cat in the clearing, "Bramblepaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your own life?"

"I do!" Bramblepaw answered his leader, sitting up and focusing his eager eyes on her. He was so ready to be a warrior, the important leader just did not know. Too bad Crystal can't remember his warrior name. Darn.
Starlingpaw watched her brother, then licked a paw and swiped it over her ear. She couldn't wait to be a warrior!
Yellowpaw touched noses with her new mentor. She could tell her brother was jealous that she had such an awesome mentor, but she just smirked at him. She was the winner.

"Then from this day onward, you will be known as Bramblefang. ThunderClan honors your loyalty and your determination to work hard." Foxstar finished and let the cats have a chance to call out the new warrior's name. "
"Sparkshard, are you satisfied with Rootpaw's skills and do you think him ready to be a warrior?" Foxstar asked the she-cat, and continued when she was given the right response. "Then I, Foxstar, leader of ThunderClan call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard under your noble code and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn. Rootpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and defend your Clan even at the cost of your own life?"

"I do." Rootpaw said, his deep voice bellowing through the silent clearing. He twitched his tail once, but that was the only sign of nerves or excitement the soon to be warrior showed.
Bramblefang moved off over to the side, proud of be a warrior. And on top of that, he was the first of all of his siblings and cousins.

"Then from this moment onward you will be known as Rootclaw. ThunderClan honors you for your ability to work hard at what you do, and your speedy pace of learning." Foxstar called out and once again waited for the cheers to die down.
"Robinfeather, are you satisfied with Nettlepaw's skills and do you think her ready to be a warrior?" Foxstar asked the she-cat who no one cared about.
"She is ready." Robinfeather replied. Forever alone.
"Then I, Foxstar, leader of ThunderClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look upon this apprentice for she has trained hard to learn the ways of your noble code, and I commend her as a warrior to you in her turn. Nettlepaw, do you promise to protect your Clan and uphold the warrior code even at the cost of your own life?"

Rootclaw nodded his head and moved to sit next to Bramblefang, who was related to him in some way.
Nettlepaw exclaimed, "I do." She was obviously not important, just like her mentor. She's not even on the clan list, and everyone utterly forgot about her until now. How sad.

"Then from this moment on you will be known as Nettleclaw." Foxstar mewed. Boy, she seemed to be losing her touch with creativity. "ThunderClan honors you for your listening skills and for always trying hard."
Waiting once more for the noise to die down, she started yet another ceremony. Noticing the cats already losing their enthusiasm, she decided to combine several ceremonies. Axel, Gingerclaw, Cloudpool, Smokesong, and Lightbreeze. Do you all believe that your apprentices are ready to become warriors?

Nettleclaw went to sit by the other two warriors.
"Yes, Foxstar." Smokesong said. Axel nodded his head in agreement. Gingerclaw mewed, "Yup!" Lightbreeze took the more formal attitude of her brother and said, "Yes Foxstar."

Cloudpool nodded her head along with the other mentors and mewed, "Yes, Foxstar."
"Then I, Foxstar, call upon my warrior ancestors to look upon these apprentices, for they have trained hard to learn the ways of your noble code. Cherrypaw, Owlpaw, Thicketpaw and Grasspaw and Tigerpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and fight for your Clan, even at the cost of your own lives?"
"I do," said Owlpaw.
"I do," said Cherrypaw.
"I do," said Tigerpaw.

"I do." echoed both Grasspaw and Thicketpaw. Grasspaw was almost bouncing in excitement, whereas Thicketpaw was more calm.

"From this day forward, you five will be known as Tigerflower, Cherryfrost, Owlstrike, Grasswing and Thicketfur. ThunderClan honors you all." Foxstar said and waited for the noise to die down again.
"Fawnstep, Sunblaze, and Applefrost, are you satisfied with your apprentices, and do you believe them ready to become full-fledged warriors?"
"Yes, Foxstar." Fawnstep said. "She is ready." Applefrost said. "Yes." Sunblaze said.
"Then I, Foxstar, leader of ThunderClan call upon my warrior ancestors to look upon these apprentices for they have trained hard to learn the ways of your noble code. Petalpaw, Starlingpaw and Sproutpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and fight for your Clan, even at the cost of your own life?"
"I do!" Petalpaw responded.
