Foxstar nodded approvingly. "Right then. Gather those three and I'll tell Echosong to guard the camp." she said, pushing her way out of the den and over to her deputy to deliver the information.
Sparrowsong nodded her head and made her way out the exit and followed the scent the kits left behind. Not too far into the forest, a strange scent mingled with the kits. "What is this scent? It doesn't smell like any Clan cat... but definitely cat scent." she asked the whole of the patrol.
Dustcloud sniffed around the area that Sparrowsong was talking about. Sure enough, she too picked up the unfamiliar scent. "Rogues?" she suggested, and began to panic again, "Have rogues taken my kits? Oh, dear StarClan..." she yowled helplessly.
Ivorypaw sprang out of her den after Gingerclaw and the rest of the patrol feeling her paws prickle with anticipation. An epic rescue mission!
