[amaterasu]

Lightbreeze had been on the dawn patrol that morning, and took a short rest afterward. When she woke up, she headed over to the fresh kill pile. WindClan was still here, but they were getting better. Plus they were all sneaking over to WindClan in large patrols to hunt, so there was plenty of fresh kill.

She picked up a mouse and headed over to the medicine cats den to feed Gingerclaw.

When she walked in, she saw the white and ginger shecat right away. She was sitting up in her moss bed cleaning herself.

"Hey, Lightbreeze." the she-cat whispered when she saw her, "Wishingstar's sleeping."
She nodded her head toward the white tom next to her.

Lightbreeze nodded her head and set the mouse down in front of Gingerclaw. "For you." she purred.

"Thanks!" Gingercl;aw exclaimed.

Flameshadow grabbed a bunch of prey from the fresh kill pile which was well stocked and padded over to the medicine cats den. It was very crowded in there. He noticed Wishingstar was sleeping, so he quietly set down his prey. "I brought fresh kill for the cats in the medicine cats den. It looks like Lightbreeze has already taken care of you though, Gingerclaw." he mewed. "Well then I guess this will all be for the medicine cats and Wishingstar. Will you make sure he gets his share, Gingerclaw?" he asked the she-cat.

"Of course, Flameshadow." Gingerclaw purred, "Thank you!"

Lightbreeze smiled at the tom, "That was nice of you, to think of the WindClan leader as well. I guess I should have done that."

Silence, and then Gingerclaw asks one of her famous random ass questions, "How old do you think he is anyway?"

Flameshadow shrugged his big shoulders. "Old enough. But he must be pretty wise. Think of all of the things he must have learned in his life." he said, thinking to himself Fascinating! like one of those people Willow hates.

[amaterasu]

"Yeah..." Lightbreeze agreed.

"Do you think Foxstar will ever get that old?" Gingerclaw asked.

"Shh!" Lightbreeze commanded, looking over at Gingerclaw, "You never know who might hear you! You're lucky Wishingstar hasn't woken up yet!"

[J I N G O]

"Yes. We wouldn't want to wake him up. I guess I'll be heading out now." Flameshadow said, dipping his head and backing out of the medicine cats den, wondering what he should do with his life now.

[amaterasu]

Lightbreeze touched noses with Gingerclaw, then headed out of the medicine cat's den. She suddenly decided she wanted to hunt.
"Hey, Flameshadow! Want to hunt with me?" she asked as she stalked the tom across the clearing.

Flameshadow turned at the call of his name. He saw it was Lightbreeze and shrugged his shoulders lightly, "Sure, why not?" and changed his course towards the camp entrance. He had nothing better to do with his life. And he just saw his sister disappear out the camp anyways with Smokesong. But he'd keep his distance. Because being her brother and all, he knew Fawnstep would end up being impregnated by Smokesong(;

Lightbreeze followed the tom over to the entrance.

"Was that Smokesong?" she asked, not noticing Fawnstep, "I've been looking for him! I haven't seen him since about sunhigh yesterday..."

She felt lonely now.

[J I N G O]

Flameshadow nodded, "I believe it was." he meowed then asked, "Do you want to catch up to him?" but really that would be bad because then they'd have to merge to one post.

[amaterasu]

"Yeah!" Lightbreeze said. She followed in her brother's direction, then noticed he had suddenly disappeared, liek he had sped up or something.

"Why is he ignoring me?" she asked, stopping in her tracks.

Flameshadow stopped when Lightbreeze did. He couldn't tell if she was hurt or angry or something else entirely. "Maybe he just wants "alone time" with Fawnstep." he mewed with an amusing tone. "Wouldn't it be funny if they got together? Your brother and my sister."

[amaterasu]

Lightbreeze tilted her head, thinking.
"I guess it would be," she finally mewed, "They're completely different! Fawnstep is so shy, when Smokesong...he's overwhelming. They'd never get together."

She still felt rejected though. "Let's hunt." she said, going in the other direction than her brother.

Flameshadow nodded and padded in the same direction after Lightbreeze, turning his head once to watch his sister disappear behind the trees and undergrowth of the forest.

Within the next few minutes, Lightbreeze had already caught two mice. They had pretty much jumped into her paws though. She was distracted from serious hunting as she thought about her brother.
