Rowanblaze let out a small laugh. "No matter how important you are, Foxstar," he explained, "There's nothing you can do now. You might as well enjoy them. Could I ask who the lucky father is?"

[J I N G O]

Foxstar knew that there was only one cat who could possibly be the father. But she wasn't so sure if he had wanted the medicine cat to know that. She gave Axel a wary look, not sure what to do.

[amaterasu]

"Ah. I see." Rowanblaze mewed. He knew who the father was just from the look Foxstar had just given the tom next to her. And he knew what he would do with the information after the look that the rogue had just given him. He would say nothing.

"Eat those herbs, and rest. Don't forget to eat!" Rowanblaze commanded. Then he disappeared back into his den.

[J I N G O]

Foxstar nodded to Rowanblaze, mewing a quick "Thank you." and picked up the herbs before backing her way out of the den. She was going to wait to eat them until she was up in her own den.

[amaterasu]

Axel followed the shecat out of the medicine cat clearing and back into her den. He was thankful for the sudden warmth. It made him tired, but he didn't sit down to sleep like he normally would have done. With his back turned to Foxstar and his head facing the back of the den, he mewed, "I could have told you you were going to have kits. I thought you would rather hear it from your medicine cat."

[J I N G O]

"O-oh?" Foxstar mewed, surprised. How come everyone else could figure it out but she couldn't? She slowly chewed up the herbs and swallowed them before continuing, "Why? Do you think I wouldn't have believed you or something? I didn't know it was so obvious to everyone but me.. the thought just never really crossed my mind, so.." she ranted importantly.

[amaterasu]

Axel shrugged his shoulders, not as amazingly as Flameshadow, but didn't turn around.

"Sometimes certain things are better to hear from certain cats. Got it memorized?"

[J I N G O]

"Well I wouldn't have minded hearing it from you..." Foxstar mewed. She looooved Axel. Did he love her? He should. She's important.

[amaterasu]

Axel slowly turned his head to look at the leader. He gave her a small smile, then mewed, "You should get some sleep, Foxstar."
He moved over to his own nest and curled up.

[J I N G O]

Foxstar nodded her head, not sure about this cat. He was so weird sometimes. She was about to curl up and go to sleep, but she decided she had an important question to ask. "Axel?"

[amaterasu]

"Yes, Foxstar?" Axel questioned. The tom didn't even bother to look up from his nest.

[J I N G O]

"Well, I was just wondering... do you like it here, in ThunderClan?" Foxstar mewed, laying down and rolling over to look up at the top of her den again. So interesting.

[amaterasu]

Axel knew that she was just going to set him up for a trap. So he decided to answer her honestly, no matter what she may think.

"It's alright. The cats are interesting, that's for sure. There's always plenty of food. It's warm. But I can't say I agree with everything the Clan does."

[J I N G O]

"What kinds of things does the Clan do that you don't agree with?" Foxstar asked him, still staring at the interesting roof of the den.

[amaterasu]

Now this was an answer she surely wouldn't like. But again, Axel found it the best idea to be truthful with her.

"I think your Warrior Code is slightly ridiculous. All cats should do what they want. Sure, I understand your side of it, but I think if the cats are going to come this far as to work together, they should all just work together because they want to. All four Clans, even. Not just because they're scared some cat from the sky is going to come down and smite them."
